The Algebra II course is to serve as an extension of Algebra I with a variety of
topics explored in greater depth. This course includes an extension of the study
of the set of real numbers and complex numbers. It will continue to provide
opportunities for students to become mathematical problem solvers, to gain confidence
in their ability to use mathematics, to learn to communicate and reason mathematically,
to generate when appropriate, and to make mathematical connections. Technology,
especially graphing calculators, is incorporated throughout this course.
