This course offers students the opportunity to acquire analytical skills such as reasoning and persuasion, and critical listening and thinking skills. Students will learn how to organize and present persuasive speeches, as well as organize and present various types of debates. This course is designed to align with assignments that are given in English classes. Debate is a preparatory class for college.
