Genetics is a laboratory-based course that will investigate the function of the cell as it applies to genetics; analyze the structure and function of DNA and RNA molecules. Students will apply genetics principles to solving basic genetic problems, describe techniques used to determine patterns of inheritance, and discuss genetic diversity in humans.
