Prerequisite: Oral Communication (suggested, not required)

This course is designed to give the student experience in formal and informal speech and to speak more effectively. This course also helps students develop critical thinking skills as well as building important communication skills that will enhance all aspects of the individual's life. This course provides instruction in how to acquire, analyze, and evaluate information to organize effective speeches and practice in making those speeches. Skill in public speaking helps the individual to think logically, clearly, and creatively.
