Graduation Requirement

This course provides students with an understanding of civic life, politics, and the constitutional process. It also provides a basis for understanding the rights and responsibilities of citizens and a framework for competent and active participation in both school and community. In this course students examine the roles and functions of our government through readings, lecture, and formulating options based on controversial issues of the day.
