World Geography is a one-semester course designed to provide students with basic geographic content and skills. Students study the five themes of geography (location, place, human-environment interaction, movement, and region) and apply these themes to the seven continents of the world. While examining the regions of the world, there is a focus on the influence the physical environment plays on such things as climate, culture, political characteristics, and history.
